Wire Crochet Bangle - Pearls and Shells

Description

This is a new twist on my wire crochet cuffs. No clasp! It's a bangle that you slip over your hand and hangs loosely on your wrist sitting lower than my more snug fitting cuffs.

This cuff is made with goldtone wire, freshwater pearls and little bits of shells. The pearls and shells are reclaimed from two different necklaces that were at least 25 years old. The texture is wonderfully organic, yet it positively shimmers in the light and the pearls give off a very satiny glow. Some of the shells have a very pale soft peach tone. It is a size small/medium with the inside circumference measuring 7.5 inches. (see size details below)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because these are bangles and have no clasp, the measurements are a little different than for a normal bracelet. They have to slip over the widest part of your hand (about where your thumb connects), just like a metal bangle. And because of that, they do not fit snugly around your wrist. Again, like a bangle, they hang down loosely sitting on the top of your hand.

SMALL / MEDIUM - 7-8 inches inside circumference
MEDIUM / LARGE - 8.5-9.5 inches inside circumference

Depending on the measurement of the widest part of your hand, the cuff could require a little coaxing to get on and off, which is OK. As long as you don't have a real tug-of-war with it.
