Let it Breathe

Description

This is a fused glass art piece that is framed in a black 10-1/2"x12-1/2" frame with an opening of 8"x10". A handsome server bringing a bottle of wine just for you - ooh la la! I have incorporated dichroic glass in the server's cufflink, the cork of the wine bottle and label.

Each piece of glass is handcut by me, layered and then fused together in my kiln at 1450 - 1500 degrees. All of my pieces are fused with compatible glass and annealed (cooled slowly) for durablilty and strength. I also incorporate dichroic glass throughout my pieces. This glass leaves a beautiful effect as the metallic coating absorbs and reflects different colors of light at different angles.
