Description

The second in a series of illustrations of mythological creatures. I know the story goes that Medusa turned to stone after looking at herself in the mirror, but I can't help but think that she would have spent a lot of time arranging those snakes and admiring her silvery-green complexion. And adorning herself with flowery, lacy robes, and sitting atop grecian urns in the moonlight. She is a lady, after all.

Printed with an Epson R1900 on velvet fine art paper, which has a wonderful texture, kinda like a very fine watercolor paper. This print is archival quality, and according to Epson it should last about 100 years without fading or getting otherwise messed up (whoa). Each print comes to you in a cellophane sleeve and stiff envelope, numbered and signed by the artist.

Print measures 8.5"x11", with a white border for framing.
