This is a hand stenciled shirt featuring Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes.

::WHO'S THAT LADY?::

Gloria Steinem is "an American feminist icon, journalist and women's rights advocate. She is the founder and original publisher of Ms. magazine, and was an influential co-convener of the National Women's Political Caucus" and Dorothy P. Hughes is "a child care activist and community organizer, Hughes founded the New York City Agency for Child Development. She was a founder in (1971) with Gloria Steimen, Brenda Feigen, and Catherine Samuels, of the Women's Action Alliance. **During the years surrounding the birth of MS. magazine, Hughes and Steimen traveled and spoke as a team, appearing at hundreds of public meetings."

This is not silk screened. I hand cut this stencil with an xacto knife.

This is apart of a feminism series of stencils I'm doing on influential women. I want to make this clothing to empower women. So, Represent! With these powerful ladies!

The Shirt is RECYCLED. Brand new condition. Overstock purchased at a thrift store. 95% Cotton 5% Spandex. V neck, long sleeved

COLOR: Pink

SIZE: Mossimo size LARGE. Approximate Measurements: Bust 38" - 36" Waist - 25" length.

The ladies are printed in black.

::CARE INSTRUCTIONS::

Washable. COLD WASH GENTLE CYCLE. HANG DRY OR LOW HEAT. The gentler you are with it the longer it will last. If you need to iron it, turn it inside out and place a cloth on the shirt. Do NOT iron directly on the image!
