The Visible YOU Man Woman customized Model Kit A WILD WILD GIFT IDEA

Hey folks, well I've officially gone off the deep end. I've had this idea for quite some time but teaching school and other stuff has kept me quite busy. It took my best friend's wedding to get my first Customized VISIBLE YOU model kit made . . . in his case, the "Visible Husband and Wife" model kits.

A while back I took and old model kit and customized it for my Brother's birthday. I changed the artwork on the box to Him. I painted the kit and put his hair on it. The box art is really what was most impressive as model kits never really looked like who they were suppose to be. But it was a gargantuan hit.

So I started to think about what model kits I could get in some quantity to work with the same concept. Then the epiphony of the old Renwal Visible Man and Visible Woman model kits hit me. As I thought more about the concept, I was struck by the idea that instead of the actual painted organs going inside the bodies, I could fill them up with anything and everything that really made that person tick!! I could put in pictures and charms and keys and mementos and just about anything that would say, this is really who you are ON THE INSIDE.

In making my first for this ad, I used a wedding gift approach as a test of my latest inspiration. The subjects? Me and my ex-ex-fiance. (It's a long story and doesn't end well) The best part for me of course was recreating the box art to reflect my life which I was modeling. The boxes are created from scratch. You can see in one of the pictures to the right the original boxes for the Visible Man and Visible Woman. Imagine that model with your head on it filled up with all these pieces of your life showing through. The box would be the "Visible Missy" or the Visible Ray" or the name of a loved one. I can customize them as birthday gifts, wedding gifts, bar mitzvah gifts, Christmas or Valentines day gifts (fill the bodies up with candy kisses?????) Anything is possible.

All I would need from you is a little information about who I would be doing and as many pictures you could send me.

Like I say, a weird weird Paul idea, but then that's why we have Etsy, to express our more stranger inner selves.

Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions. Also, while I did purchase a number of original kits on Ebay, I do have a limited number at the moment. So if by some miracle this turns out to be the idea of century, please know that I might need to order some new kits or win some more on Ebay.
