Wuthering Heights Paperback Wallet

This wallet is made from a battered and obviously well loved old copy of Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights."

The front and back covers have been covered in a matte water-resistant vinyl, and lined with both the first and last pages of the book, also protected by vinyl. The outer card pockets are sewn on from a shiny clear vinyl. The edges are finished with black fabric tape, and the wallet is held closed by a black elastic band.

This Wuthering Heights wallet measures 7" long by 4.25" wide when unfolded, and fits American currency perfectly. All standard business cards and credit cards will fit in the card pockets.


Biobliophiles, don't fret! All of my wallets and purses are made from damaged or discarded books, 90% were being thrown out by libraries. All care is taken to never use valuable or rare books. Have a favorite book that is falling apart? Send it to me and I will turn it into a one of a kind purse or wallet for you!

You may note that there are visible creases on the front cover. This is normal for any paperback that gets folded, but because the cover is essentially laminated in vinyl, the creases are only cosmetic, and the cover will not tear in any way to damage the wallet. More creases may become visible with use, but I feel that this only adds to the charm of using a well loved book as your wallet.

An additional note. All wallets wear out eventually. When using recycled materials, it's hard to predict how they will behave in all circumstances. I take pride in the quality of my work, but time and everyday use will eventually take their toll. If your wallet wears out down the line, you can send it back to me and get half off a new, custom wallet.
