This cute little fella creates a sense of whimsy. How can you take death seriously when he has a little pout and a mop of hair covering an eye socket and two little braids left over from when the cute girl in math class played with his hair?

Yama is pouting because parents tell their children he will cut off their TV privileges if they lie. Which is, ironically, a lie. He loves Hanna Montana and the Jonas Brothers as much as the next tween, though that is a closely guarded secret. Cutting off TV would be hypocritical.

Almost enough to make even the most disciplined Reaper want to do a bit of unauthorized reaping. Possibly silly adults who try to scare their kids into being seen not heard. As well as those that get off wielding power over others.

He is 4.25 inches/10.75cm tall. He stands up on his own.

In this life the only guarantees are death and taxes. If you follow the news, it seems that one can get away with dodging taxes but death is unavoidable so you might as well have a friend. We all know the tax man will not be your pal.
