Letterpress Moonshine Flask

Description

Who says presses and alcohol don't go together? This moonshine flask is one of my first experiments with using a letterpress to create images on leather. This flask holds a gargantuan 8 oz. of liquor - that's right, a full cup of alcohol. Due to the size, this flask is much better suited to purses and jacket pockets than pants pockets. Currently there are two of these flasks left, part of an edition of 7.

*This high quality stainless steel flask has been wrapped in hand-dyed leather, and sealed with a waterproofing agent.

*Please keep in mind that a funnel is needed to fill a flask. I had to experiment quite a bit to find an ink that would dry on suede, and while the image will not run if it gets wet, it will smear if you rub it too much. If spillage occurs, simply let the alcohol evaporate.

*If you don't have a funnel, pour the desired amount of alcohol into a ziplock bag and seal it. Cut off a small bit of corner, and you're set!
