Still sealed vintage 1930s / 1940s jacket pattern - Blackmore 3221

...Angelica took all her suitors out for a morning ride across the Estate. And she always issued the challenge- "race you back to the House!"
It was three miles of hard gallop across country and all of them had failed so far. Some of them had lost gracefully, some had been hopping mad, and some had pretended they'd let her win (which was the worst). Each and every one of them had been driven to the station that same afternoon when she remembered vital business in town.
Would this one be any different? As she spurred her horse over the first hedge she speculated- would there be game pie for lunch?...

Still sealed 1930s pattern by Blackmore for a little button up coat, with shoulder fullness, pockets, fitted waist and shaped hem.

Although this is a beautiful pattern, I'd recommend it for sewers who have some sewing experience (especially working with vintage patterns). This is because there is no technical line drawing/schematic and because the only instructions provided in Blackmore patterns are the text on the back of the packet (see photos).

NOTE: This pattern states "allow half-an-inch extra for turning on all seams- no turnings are included on the pattern". Basically, this means that there is no seam allowance included.

Pattern is not dated, but is from the late 1930s/early 1940s.

Medium: 36" bust. (Note that seam allowance is not included in the pattern pieces- see our note above.)

CONDITION:

This pattern packet is still sealed shut and has never been opened! The envelope has some wear and rumpling, but is otherwise in good condition for its age.
(Pattern pieces from Blackmore patterns of this period are pre-cut to size and unprinted.)
