1960s Cranberry Red Wool Tweed Suit from Evan Picone

Cute suit! The fabric is really nice - a nubby tweed of dark red, a nice cranberry, with a thread or two of olive green mixed in. Not orangy like some of my photos, and is lighter than most of the photos.



The suit is marked a size 12. In today's sizing, it is much closer to a 4 or 6. Check the measurements:

Skirt
Waist - 26"
Hips - 38.5"
Length - 24"

Jacket
Bust - 39"
Waist - 34"
Shoulder to shoulder - 18"
Sleeve length - 21.5"

Excellent condition. There is a nicely done repair on the waistband near the button.
