ida bohatta vintage prints - little shepherd and lambs in creche christmas card

legend has it that these original prints by the gifted austrian artist ida bohatta morpurg were produced in the 1930's by verlag ars sacra on a seven color press that no longer exists.

originally printed as greeting cards, a message inside reads - "frohliche weihnachten!" (merry christmas!). the colors and details are rich, the images sweetly innocent. the supply is dwindling. they will never be made this way again.

prints measure: 3 1/4 inches square (8.2 cm) on substantial original paper
