Simple Gifts -- Handwoven ivory lace ring bearer pillow

Pretty yet understated. My handwoven spot weave lace fabric was used to make this ring bearer's pillow. Mercerized weaver's cotton yarn in ivory makes a cloth with a subtle sheen. A button covered in handwoven fabric is centered on the pillow, around which is placed a pretty satin ribbon. I used an ivory-colored ribbon; other options are available. I currently have about 20 different ribbon colors in stock. The back of the pillow is made of coordinating quilter's cotton (please see the picture). I included a violet flower on the back of the pillow, made from satin ribbons, which traditionally symbolizes good luck. Measures approximately 6" square. Woven and sewn in a smoke-free home. My own pillow design; sewing with handwoven fabrics necessitates some special sewing modifications.
