A very special, one of a kind, hanging art quilt (measures 10.5 x 9.25 inches plus hanger) with a beautiful Solitude mantra hand embroidered on linen. These little quilts are new for me. I can easily say they best represent who I am more than anything else I've created to date. Embroidery is my meditation... searching for and finding vintage cotton connects me to a history of women who have created before me... finding just the right new cotton designs connects me to the men and women who are out there today, breathing and creating right along side me... the cotton batting in the center and soft cotton muslin on the back provide a slight memory of a cozy moment... the tree branch and natural jute are both incredibly grounding.
