Ever Upward - ruffled organza peony brooch with repurposed button
Description
Dramatic layers of brightly hued organza are combined to create this beautiful brooch. Each fabric petal is cut out by hand and then finished to prevent fraying. Carefully handstitched together, a repurposed "Excelsior" (or ever upward) button has been added to the centre, and a lockable pin to the reverse. Perfect as a brooch, the pin allows this to be added to a headband, or simply use a length of ribbon to create a lush corsage.
This measures 8cm or 3" in width approximately.
