Easter Egg Radish Scarf MULTI scarflet lariat necklace crochet amigurumi
Description
One day, I was walking thru Whole Foods when I stumbled upon the adorable veggies known as Easter Egg radishes. I had never heard of them before, and I absolutely loved all their colors!
Here, I am listing one big multi-colored Easter Egg Radish "scarf." While the other two single radish scarves in my shop are quite slender and ropey and can be worn as a lariat necklace (sorry I forgot to take off my own necklace for the pictures...I know it's a bit distracting), this one is best worn wrapped around your neck like a traditional scarf.
However, this scarf is very convertible. You can also separate the scarf into various parts and wear each different ways. As pictured, I am wearing three separate radish scarves, with two extra tied-on radishes. You can wear each radish scarf separately or in twos, and you can tie the two extra radishes anywhere you like. I use a simple knot the way you tie your shoe (not the double knot!) so I can get it out easily. I chose to tie my extra radishes next to the other radishes, but you could also tie them to the other side with the leaves, or even tie them to the neck. You can even put them in your hair or on your purse!
The radishes themselves are made of various acrylic and wool yarns,, stuffed with polyfill and adorned with snap-on eyes. The super soft stems and leaves are worked in Malabrigo merino wool, my absolute favorite babysoft yarn for skin contact!
I've tethered the three stems of each individual scarf together so they won't get too unruly, but if you prefer to untie them, it's just a simple knot and you can remove it. This is a really fun and unique piece!
