45MPH COUCH POTATO hand printed indigo on white cotton cushion cover
Description
This cute cushion cover features an image of my beautiful brindle greyhound Max curled up asleep on the sofa. Max was our first rescue greyhound & we haven't looked back since!
Greyhounds can reputedly run at speeds of up to 45mph, which I can well believe when I see Max bounding along the beach in the sun. However, like most pet greyhounds, Max spends the majority of his time these days lazing on the sofa, thus earning himself the nickname '45mph couch potato'!
After converting a photograph of Max to a monochrome image, I hand screen printed it onto the cover along with the caption '45mph couch potato' using non-toxic fabric ink. The ink has been fixed using heat, making it resistant to machine washing at 40 ° C & dry cleaning.
The cushion cover measures 39 x 39 cm or 15 x 15 inches square, & has a zip on one side where you can insert your own cushion. It is made of 100% natural cotton in white with the greyhounds image & caption printed in contrasting indigo. A perfect addition to your sofa or bed - you might have to fight your dog for it!
5% of the profits from the sale of this item will be donated to Gracehounds (Scottish Registered Charity No. SC038872), a small local charity dedicated to finding permanent homes & a better life for greyhounds, like Max, who would otherwise be abandoned or destroyed after their short racing careers.
