Native American legend says that red jasper would drive away evil spirits and protect against snake and spider bites. Jasper was often worn by Shaman to provide protection and send any negativity directed at them back to the original sender. A circle has long been used in various cultures as a symbol of protection, and this pair of sticks unities these two protective elements.
Built upon black lacquer sticks, this pair is topped with silver pewter and a round of brecciated jasper. Capped with silver, twin open circles of jasper crown the top, a bit of portable protection from negative energy.
The sticks have an overall length of 6.75in and a usable length of 5.25in.
