These wool felt crowns were born out of an important tradition for my own children - the birthday crown. Made for each child on their first birthday, the birthday crowns are worn on birthdays and other special days by the little ones. In addition to birthday celebrations, the crowns can be a wonderful touch for creative and imaginative dress up play.
Each crown is made with plant-dyed wool felt, giving them a sturdy and earthy appearance. And with a fabric-covered elastic band in the back, they are made to fit throughout childhood.
