This sock yarn is 100% superwash merino. It is a 2-ply yarn that is airy and light with a nice twist and subtle sheen. It is deliciously soft and cuddly.
I always handwash my socks regardless of fiber content, but you may machine wash this yarn and lay flat to dry. This yarn works up beautifully on needle sizes 1 or 2. The yardage is enough for a pair of socks, but as different patterns require different amounts of yarn, you may want to check your yardage requirements before venturing.
I make sure that you see an actual skein from the dye lot that you are buying. I take care to ensure that colors are truly represented in my photographs, but please know that colors vary by computer monitor.
