This is my all time favorite lace knitting yarn. A Zephyr base of 50/50 supersoft merino and very good quality tussah silk that combine to make a strong, elegant, high lustre lace knit. The color is 'Sedona' - one of our custom colorways that we sell in roving, batts, sock/lace/dk yarn. The terra cotta base is balanced with a cool green and blue that then melts into a turquoise. There's a bit of darker brown in there to bring in a background, earthy tone as well as a bit of peach and white here and there to improve the luster of your finished knit. Such beautiful color, such great texture, and a strong and reliable lace yarn. There's enough in this 3.8 ozs. skein to make a regular triangle shawl. I have another skein of 1260 yds. in the shop. Both are from the same dyelot and would work well together if you have a larger shawl in mind.
