Vintage Brazilian Street Jewelry Earrings - Green - 1960s

Another item from my stash of interesting Brazilian street jewelry comes to The Loft today!
Purchased between 1958 and 1962 in Rio de Janeiro, these are truly vintage and truly cultural - at least 45 years old. Sports typical design for jewelry worn by the masses and shown off during the Carnival season with flashy and colorful outfits. You just had to be there!
Flirty dangly beads encased by brass filigree bead caps are hung on brass ear clips. The metal has a really lovely, warm oxidation. Beads are a rich emerald green, white, and white/red stripe and are either heavy plastic or glass - I cannot tell. If you want a true piece of unique culture "yesteryear," this is it.
Size: They will hang about 1.5 (4 cm) inches from top to bottom.
