Excellent pattern. This was my first attempt at making gloves/mittens, and the detailed instructions were easy to follow. I did the color work a little differently, but pattern was very adaptable. For finger cap, I increased to 32 stitches so I could work the snowfall stitch.
I loved this pattern! It was a challenge, but easy to follow! I doubled up the bottom and sewed it for a thicker bunching around the ears.
My granddaughter has dreads and needed a tube hat. This was the perfect pattern to easily transform into a tube! (I also made the brim wider so it would stay on her head. ) I found I needed to go to the blogpost in order to look at the pictures and further explanations there. Once I did that, I was able to crochet this in an evening. Fun stitches! I will use this pattern again!
