This painting started as a Plein Air painting and then was finished off in my studio. This cute little white boat sat in Bass River with a marshy scene behind it. I instantly fell in love with this spot and sat down immediately.
It's weird doing a Plein Air painting during a pandemic. I had my mask in my cup holder instead of a drink. People tried to look from afar instead of coming over and starting conversation about art and artists. I hope everybody is staying safe.
This painting is 12 by 12 inches oil on canvas. The size of the canvas are painted to reflect the artwork itself. Gallery wrapped.
