Merino wool knitted baby blanket is «Hearts» design by Olga Begak.

This hand knitted afghan is made of 100% superwash treated extra fine merino from free-range animals in South America, DROPS Merino Extra Fine, in light brown mix 07 color.

The main characteristics of this yarn are the softness, volume, elasticity and even result, which makes it ideal for knitting structured patterns such as cables. The yarn is also superwash treated and therefore machine washable and suitable for everyday use. DROPS Big Merino is spun from multiple thin strands, which gives the yarn extra elasticity. Is this special construction that makes it extra important to treat the garment right: make sure that you knit with the correct tension and rather use a tight tension than loose. Merino wool is amazingly soft, lightweight, breathable and active fiber that reacts to changes in body temperature and discourages sweating, so the blanket can be used the whole year around.
This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certificate № 25.3.0110), Standard 100, Class 1. This means that it has been tested and found completely free from harmful chemicals and that it is safe for human use. Class 1 is the highest level and it means the yarn is suitable for baby articles (ages 0–3).

Beautiful pattern. I used 100% wool, dk yarn that was hand spun and dyed and the hat turned out beautifully. I ended up using almost 100 m of primary color and about 90 m of the secondary color. This was my first time knitting fair isle and I love it. I have a 22.5 inch head for reference and it was a little small on me not to lie. Great pattern overall, maybe size up needles.

The kit came and is exactly as pictured. The blanket is simple to make and I am enjoying the process. Would definitely order from her again. She was attentive to my needs during the ordering process.

I am the lucky one buying the new blue/white/yellow version of the sweater. It looks a lot more vibrant in real life than in photos. It cheers me up! Olga was very patient to explain to me the differences of different wool options and apply the measurements that I had provided. The Lettlopi (100% Icelandic wool) yarn I have chosen is very authentic - not super soft but feels real and natural. I love it! The workmanship is incredible. Thanks Olga!
