The pattern is a collaboration between myself and The Feathered Hart Costuming & Props. Her social media page can be found here: http://www.instagram.com/thefeatheredhart for examples of her work. She drafted the pattern and wrote the instructions and I did the sizing and digital layout. This was such a great collaboration.

This pattern was fairly easy to use as long as you have a basic understanding of sewing clothes. I used Matt satin instead of cotton, and it turned out pretty good. My sister and I both made a uniform and wore them at ECCC. We also bought the belt buckle and pin.

Love it, can't wait to put together my cosplay. The pattern looks pretty good and easy to follow!

Great pattern, but pretty difficult to put together if you’re a visual learner. Written instructions only left me pretty frustrated during construction but overall I’m thankful this pattern exists!

This pattern is great but I couldn’t give it 5 stars because I have a couple complaints: 1) The directions have zero pictures unlike a traditional pattern. Fortunately for me I see a lot so this wasn’t too bad. 2) Size is determined by chest size. I made a medium which fit great everywhere but my shoulders (but it wasn’t too bad). I would have also liked to know what the length of the finished garment was suppose to be. If I make it again, I would add 2” at least to the length (I’m 5’9”). For reference, my sizes are bust: 42” (without a chest binder), waist: 34”, hips: 42”. 3) There was no mention of when to add the interfacing so I forgot it for the cuffs. Luckily I remember for the collar. 4) I wish they gave a thickness for the double fold bias tape. The stuff I bought was too thin. But the extra wide seemed too thick.
