Marbled Ocean Waves | Alaska Photography | Nature Art Photo Print | Wall Art

Original print by Kelly Compton, a Seattle-based portrait/lifestyle and nature photorgrapher. This photo was taken from a boat on Resurrection Bay in Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska - the clouds on the swirling ocean water made this incredible pattern that I thought resembled blue marble. A small bit of editing muted the blue ocean colors into more of a subtle teal.

Prints will be outsourced through a third-party printing company (Shutterfly) to ensure the highest quality for your home. I use Shutterfly's matte print option; a matte finish means that the photo doesn’t have any shine, making it a great option for photos you want to display in a glass frame or in brighter areas.
