Nice pattern, i think it needs a fairly experienced sewer to make this pattern and it did use a lot of ink to print the instructions out as they are not just outlines. But the finished result is lovely.
The pattern is lovely and makes a beautiful bra. It is a little small for me (the measurements are accurate) but I can grade it up to fit. It also looks super cute in a patterned cotton with fold over elastic around the top edge.
There is a fatal flaw in this pattern. While the overall design is lovely, the cups are one set size regardless of band size (the two band sizes are about 27", which would be a bra band 28, and about 31", which would be a bra band 32). Thing is, cup size is relative to the band size, which is a VITAL part of bra sizing. Someone who is a 28D will not have the same cup size as someone who is a 32D. In fact, someone who is a 28D will have the same approximate cup size by volume as someone who is 32B. I am usually a 32DD, but can wear a 34D, and often do since 34D is a lot easier to find, but I intended to make this pattern as a 32D with smaller seam allowances, but this pattern is entirely worthless due to the static cup sizing. I will update this review pending seller response. :( Refund requested.
I design patterns for self-tailoring, not for industrial production of lingerie. The description indicates that there are 5 sizes of cups and they are all presented. Measure the horizontal arch of your breast, as photo. Choose your bra cup size. The length of the band can be increased or decreased by yourself according to your size. I think your size is D. You are starting to criticize the pattern even though you haven’t sewed anything for that pattern yet.
