This printable calendar has a whimsical berry theme, and offers space not only to record important dates but highlight our most important projects and plans for the month ahead. As a blank monthly calendar, it's ready to take on birthdays, holidays, reading lists, meal ideas, knitting WIPs, or whatever else is foremost in your mind!

The calendars are set up for editing through Adobe Reader, a free program. Your purchase is accompanied by tips and step-by-step instructions so you can get started on filling out your new calendar straightaway. The calendars come both with the days of the week filled out in English (for a Sunday or Monday start), and with the days of the week left blank, so you can fill out a calendar in any language you like!

This is a Digital Download, so nothing will be physically shipped to you. That means the calendar files are yours for keeps and you can print them as many times as you like for your own personal use (including to share with your household)!

*** WHAT'S FEATURED ***

*** WHAT CAN YOU EDIT ***

As well as in filling in the dates, month, and year, you can customize the wording for each focus heading and fill in notes for every calendar day and your monthly priorities.

You're also able to customize the formatting for the calendar days and the area expanding on your notes/focus/priorities for the month, including the font type, size, and colour.

For the calendars with the days of the week pre-filled in English, you're not able to edit the design itself or the formatting of the month, year, days of the week, or focus area headings.

For the blank calendars with space for the days of the week and the pre-set option of a small or large font for the name of the month, you're not able to edit the design or the formatting of the month, year, or focus area headings. However, you ARE able to edit the formatting of the days of the week – particularly useful if you need to make the font size smaller!

*** HOW TO DOWNLOAD & ACCESS FILES ***

If you have an Etsy account, you can click the "View your files" link which appears directly after your purchase, and download your files from the following page. These files will include:

* a PDF with editing and printing tips
* a PDF with download links for the calendars

If you need to return later, you can always access the "Purchases and reviews" page from the "Your account" page (so long as you're signed in) and find the download link(s) next to the corresponding order. You'll also receive an email with a download link.

If you don't have an Etsy account, your download link(s) will be in the receipt that was sent to you by email.

Because of the quantity of design and format variations, as well as the fillable portions, you will need to download the calendar files themselves through Dropbox, as they surpass the file size limit imposed by Etsy.

Instructions on how to do this are included in one of the PDFs delivered through Etsy. There's no account creation required to download the files from Dropbox, so it's a very quick and easy process!

Once you've downloaded the Zip files from Dropbox, you'll first need to unzip the files to be able to access your printables. All computers have some form of program for unzipping files. The process is simple but differs between programs, so if you haven't done this before, you'll first need to familiarize yourself with the process.

Once you've successfully unzipped the file, you can open the PDF file for your calendar of choice. If you haven't already, do look first at the tips and suggestions file that also came with your purchase.

To view the PDFs, you'll need Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded for free if you don't have it already:

*** PRINTING TIPS ***

Use "Actual Size" and "Landscape" settings. Double-check that you've selected the correct paper size, as well.

If you are going to employ a printing service, keep in mind that online uploaders don't always accept or correctly process fillable PDFs. To make sure things go smoothly, I recommend emailing the file directly to your printing location of choice or taking it in person on a flash drive.

A few of my listings (some of the dated calendars, for example) require the files to be downloaded through Dropbox. Etsy has a strict file size limit, and between things like the variations and fillable portions of the files, the total sometimes surpasses this limit. Dropbox is the next best alternative!

If you purchase one of these items, you'll receive a PDF instantly after purchase with download links. No Dropbox sign-up is required, so it's still a quick and easy process! More details are given in the description of the listing.

For the printables, because of the variations included for each, you'll likely see that what's been downloaded is a ZIP file. Here are some instructions for unzipping files on a Windows computer:

One thing that can cause issues with the download is if you're making the purchase through the mobile Etsy app. If this is your preferred way to browse Etsy, just make sure that after you've purchased your new printables, you download the files through an internet browser (that's something like Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge) to a PC or laptop instead of doing it through the app.

As far as the functional content goes, all my printables are inspired by something I myself have felt a yearning for, either because it makes my life easier now or could have eased it in the past.

The visual themes I design are inspired by everything from geometric patterns to architecture to sparrows having a dance party in the dirt. Most are sketched out first by hand (usually with pencil, sometimes with ink). Once I'm happy with and feel connected to how the design is shaping up, I move over to my computer, open Inkscape, and start transforming my pencil vision into a digital reality!

Also, I often share my ideas and brainstorm along the way with my lovely Mum, one of the most whimsically creative people I know.

I understand printing services like Avery and VistaPrint to be very good options for address labels! All of my address labels come with individual versions of the design as well as full sheets, and these individual versions are made for ease of use with an online printing service. I've also included tutorials for Avery and VistaPrint.

The font choices will be different than what you see in my listing images, but I have suggested a few great alternatives in the tutorials.

Also, to my understanding, VistaPrint will not allow you to fill in different names and addresses for each label, so you'll only be able to do return address labels through them.

Among other things, I firmly believe in working towards a more loving, respectful, and inclusive world, where white supremacy and the systemic oppression it upholds has no foothold. I believe in a world where kids don't need to fear gun violence when they go to school. I believe in a world where shelter and medical care is a right, not a privilege. I believe in a world where we acknowledge the harm done to Indigenous peoples, make reparations, and respect their healing and grieving process.

As well as working to bolster my knowledge and understanding, I actively seek out creations by lesser heard voices; examine my own role in the system; and look for ways (financial and otherwise) to support these causes and issues.
