--ABOUT THE ARTIST--
I am a self taught artist learning by painting and observing art every day. Having painted as a hobby for 25 years, I am now fully devoted to my art and am experimenting with new techniques and styles.
Although realism was my first love I am also fascinated by minimalist seascapes and impressionist style florals. Most recently I am seeing the beauty that colors and shapes themselves bring to the canvas in my abstract work. The common thread of my paintings is using color to create pieces that feel modern and fresh.
I have lived in beautiful New England all my life. When I am not painting I enjoy the “do it yourself” projects of decorating the home I share with my husband.
