Crafted from a solid .925 sterling silver setting, this is the smallest of my working compass necklaces, measuring 12mm in diameter. The compass itself is made of gold toned brass with a glass face with a soft ivory color compass. It has a magnetic needle and is set in a beautiful, shiny sterling silver crown bezel, adding a touch of vintage charm to this elegant piece.

Choose between a stainless steel chain or a sterling silver chain, available in various lengths, to suit your personal style. The stainless steel chain has an antique silver tone and is hypoallergenic and resistant to tarnish, while the sterling silver chain is a classic bright silver tone that can develop a patina over time. A simple polish with a jewelry cloth will restore its original shine.

**Please note that while this compass is operational, it is intended primarily as jewelry and should not be relied upon for hiking or survival purposes. Its accuracy is not guaranteed, and we advise against submerging it in water. Due to the delicate glass face, this necklace is not suitable for children.

Locket hinges are delicate and should be handled with care.
Sterling silver and silver plating will tarnish. Keep items in a plastic bag when not worn. Some have skin reactions to silver that can cause skin discoloration. Applying a thin coating of clear finger nail polish can help prevent this.
Brass and copper will naturally patina. These metals have the ability to turn the skin green, especially when exposed to treated water or lotions.

I will gladly refund the full price of your returned item within three days of receipt if applicable. Please return using the original packaging and a padded envelope and ship via USPS with tracking.
Shipping fees will not be refunded unless your item arrives damaged or you received a different item than purchased. Refunds will be processed once I receive the returned item.
