"I’ve used Tagines for many years. I stopped using ceramic a long while ago because they tend to split, but this 1 has a metal base. It’s beautiful, very rustic. The base had a lot of solder spots on it, which I rubbed off with wire wool, as I didn’t want to scratch my halogen hob. Next job was to prove the pot - by soaking overnight in water, then painting with olive oil and baking in a low oven. I’m now cooking with it and it performs well. I’m current experimenting with veggie recipes. I prefer the taste cooked in ceramic, so a great purchase for me"
