Mi entrada en el mundo del punto de cruz estuvo lejos de ser glamorosa... Soy una recreadora histórica y me estaba aburriendo de tejer en cada evento, así que decidí enseñarme a mí misma otro oficio históricamente preciso. Como no tenía mucho más que cambio de repuesto en ese momento, ¡descubrí lo asequible que puede ser el punto de cruz!

Cuanto más cosía, más me encantaba y más buscaba nuevos patrones para probar. Así es como me topé con la notable variedad de patrones de punto de cruz nerds alrededor de Etsy. No pude (y todavía no puedo) tener suficiente de ellos en mi posesión y, a medida que llegué a comprender mejor cómo se construyen los patrones, me di cuenta de que tenía mis propias ideas que aún no existían.

Como tal, he dado los primeros pasos en mi viaje de diseño de punto de cruz y no puedo esperar para compartir esta aventura con ustedes.

My entry into the world of cross stitch was far from glamorous... I'm a historical reenactor and was growing bored with knitting at every event, so I decided to teach myself another historically accurate craft. Since I didn't have much more than spare change at the time, I discovered just how affordable cross stitch can be!

The more I stitched, the more I grew to love it, and the more I sought out new patterns to try out. That's how I stumbled upon the remarkable array of nerdy cross stitch patterns all around Etsy. I couldn't (and still can't) get enough of them into my possession and, as I came to understand better how patterns are constructed, I realized that I had my own ideas that didn't yet exist.

As such, I've taken the first steps on my cross stitch design journey and can't wait to share this adventure with you!
