My story, eh? Well, I started out making small simple plush out of fleece, which is cheaper and easier to get, and gifting them to friends and family. This was about 10 years ago. I evolved to using minky, since it's much softer and more cuddly, and also holds shape better than fleece does. When I starting buying more complex and bigger patterns, things really started to roll and my plush making skills were improving a lot. I only started to set up an Etsy shop for fun and to test the market, but after my daughter was born I decided I needed to make this a reality. It's still just more of a "serious hobby" than an actual business, but I love making plush and don't see myself stopping any time soon. Eventually hope to make it a real business, where I don't have to go to my "real job" and instead can sew and manage the shop all day, but we'll see what the future has to offer!
