Fousek Studio creates atmospheric art prints inspired by nature, quiet mystery, and memories of childhood.

What began as small illustrations for my young sons — a way to slow down and escape the fast pace of commercial work — gradually became a regular creative practice and a return to worlds that feel calm, intimate, and familiar to me.

The illustrations explore familiar realities slightly shifted from the ordinary, revealing hidden emotions, unusual perspectives, and moments of wonder within nature and everyday life.

Forests, oceans, animals, and imagined places become part of cinematic compositions balancing realism with a subtle surreal atmosphere.

Alongside creating personal artwork, I have worked for more than 15 years as a storyboard artist and concept artist for film and commercial projects. I studied classical drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, and this background continues to shape the atmosphere and composition of every piece.
