Per cominciare, dovrei farti sapere che GarmentsofSplendor NON è un negozio di abbigliamento, ma un negozio progettato per utilizzare diari di preghiera e pianificatori di fede come un modo per scoprire la bellezza trasformante che abbiamo attraverso l'abbigliamento spirituale di Cristo.
Sei mai stato in una stagione così buia e triste della vita in cui hai sentito pesanti fardelli che ti appesantivano come un mantello di ferro rivestito? So di averlo fatto. Isaia 61:3 descrive l'anima ferita come una veste spirituale di pesantezza e disperazione.
Ma Gesù venne sulla terra, morì e risuscitò vittorioso per scambiare i nostri abiti cupi di peccato e vergogna con vesti brillanti di lode, giustizia e salvezza eterna (Is 61,10).
Le catene del nostro passato sono state spezzate. Come la nazione di Israele, Dio ci chiama a alzarci e a prendere il nostro posto sulla sua pista:
"Svegliati, svegliati, o Sion,
Rivestiti di forza.
Indossa le tue vesti di splendore..."
Isaia 52:1
Questo negozio riguarda l'acquisizione di un nuovo guardaroba spirituale e l'indossare abiti scintillanti di splendore e forza. Rivestirsi di queste cose significa adornarsi della gloria stessa di Dio.

To start off, I should let you know that GarmentsofSplendor is NOT a clothing shop, but a shop designed to use prayer journals and faith planners as a way to discover the transforming beauty we have through the spiritual clothing of Christ.
Have you ever been in such a dark, dismal season of life where you felt heavy burdens weighing you down like a clad-iron cloak? I know I have. Isaiah 61:3 describes the wounded soul as a spiritual garment of heaviness and despair.
But Jesus came to earth, died, and rose again in victory to exchange our bleak clothing of sin and shame for brilliant garments of praise, righteousness and eternal salvation (Is 61:10).
The chains of our past have been broken. Like the nation of Israel, God is calling us to arise and take our place on his runway:
"Awake, awake O Zion,
Clothe yourself with strength.
Put on your garments of splendor..."
Isaiah 52:1
This shop is about gaining a new spiritual wardrobe and putting on shimmering garments of splendor and strength. To put on these things is to adorn yourself with the very glory of God.
