InsectOperaHouse is slechts een tentoonstelling.
Door mijn gehaaste leven heb ik geen tijd meer om naar de lucht en de aarde te kijken. Ik groeide op op het platteland, vestigde me in de stad en verlangde nog meer naar de eeuwige bergen die door dit alles bedekt waren, naar het oorspronkelijke thuisland van al het leven, naar mijn grote bomen, kleine gras, wilde konijnen, huisdieren, insecten... En zo ontstond de motivatie om kunstwerken te maken op basis van specimens. Daarom deed ik een speciaal verzoek aan mijn klasgenoten van het platteland om mij de zaden te sturen, waaronder koolzaad, quinoa, rijst en hondenstaartgras.
De vreugde van het leven die ontluikt, overstijgt de lange twintig jaar en herleeft in mijn hart. Ik heb zorgvuldig een verzameling kleine plantjes geordend die ik op gewone dagen heb verzameld, samen met een paar prachtige kiezels. Ik verwonderde me met een gevoel van eerbied in mijn hart over de grootsheid van de Schepper! Misschien vormen alle levens ter wereld één familie, waardoor ze elkaar zo harmonieus aanvullen wanneer het leven samenkomt.
InsectOperaHouse is just an exhibition.
Living in such a hurried pace, I no longer have time to look at the sky and the earth. Growing up in the countryside, I settled in the city and yearned even more for the eternal mountains covered by all of this, yearned for the original homeland of all life, yearned for my big trees, small grass, wild rabbits, domestic animals, insects... And so came the motivation to create specimen-based artwork. Therefore, I made a special request to my classmates from the countryside to send me the seeds, including rapeseed, quinoa, rice, and dog-tail grass.
The joy of life sprouting surpasses the long twenty years and is revived in my heart. I carefully arranged a collection of small plants I picked up on ordinary days, along with some beautiful pebbles. I marveled at the greatness of the Creator with a sense of reverence in my heart! Perhaps all lives in the world are one family, so they complement each other so harmoniously when life combines together.
