Afghan refugee mother artisan

Hello, my name is J.B and I am from Afghanistan. I am now living in the USA with my husband and 7 children.

When I was 9 years old, my friends taught me how to embroider and crochet. Today, I continue these skills and you can see some of my creations in my Etsy shop. A lot of my inspiration comes when I think of home remember the mountains, the flowers and the trees in Afghanistan. My favorite part is seeing something I’ve created with my own hands - it makes me so happy,. When I’m not embroidering or sewing, I love to cook and go to the park.

I hope you enjoy the products in my Etsy shop; I made this for you with my own hands, but it comes from my heart.
