I am a self-taught artist with an aborted art history degree (the call of nature was louder than the call of the lecture hall) ... when I'm not in the garden, I'm standing in front of a canvas.
I like to work extensively with colors and shapes.
Feelings, fragments, dreamlike scenes and fleeting moments inspire me just as much as vineyards, urban gorges and reflections of the sun. I like to take a lot of time for portraits and detailed nature pictures in acrylic. The more interesting the face, the more exciting the painting process.

Ich bin autodidakte Künstlerin mit einem abgebrochenen Kunstgeschichtestudium (der Ruf der Natur war lauter als der Ruf des Hörsaales) ...wenn ich nicht im Garten bin, stehe ich vor einer Leinwand.
Ich arbeite gerne großflächig mit Farben und Formen.
Gefühle, Fragmente, traumhafte Szenen und flüchtige Augenblicke inspirieren mich genauso wie Weinberge, Großstadtschluchten und Sonnenspiegelungen. Für Portraits und detailreiche Naturbilder in Acryl nehme ich mir gerne viel Zeit. Je interessanter das Gesicht, desto spannender der Malprozess.
