Enquanto crescia, meus pais drogam meu irmão e eu para leilões. Meus pais compraram antiguidades antes de se tornarem tão desejáveis. Ir a esses eventos não era tão popular como são agora. Mamãe e papai, Nancy e Pete, eram colecionadores de antiguidades e adoravam fazer artesanato que vendiam em shows.
Minha avó tinha uma loja em Ben Hill, Georgia chamada Like New Shop, daí o nome da minha loja. Meu pai sempre a ajudou a pegar móveis ou qualquer tesouro que ela tinha encontrado. Ela estava mais interessada em "móveis usados" do que em outros itens. Eu também e adoro requirver peças velhas. Meus móveis vendem em antiquários da área desde que ainda não aprendi a enviá-lo. Eu também tenho uma queda por vidro, porcelana, etc. como você pode ver pelas coisas nas lojas.
Para ser honesto, acho que é só a aquisição que eu mais gosto. Espero que você possa encontrar alguns tesouros é algumas das minhas aquisições.
Growing up my parents drug my brother and I to auctions. My parents bought antiques before they became so desirable. Going to these events was not as popular as they are now. Mom and Dad, Nancy and Pete, were collectors of antiques and loved doing crafts which they sold at shows.
My grandmother owned a store in Ben Hill, Georgia called the Like New Shop, hence the name of my shop. My Dad always helped her pick up furniture or whatever treasure she had found. She was actually more interested in "used furniture" than in other items. So am I and love to refinish old pieces. My furniture sells at antique stores in the area since I haven't learned to ship it yet. I do also have a thing for glass, porcelain, etc. as you can see by the things in the shops.
To be honest I think it is just the acquisition I like the best. Hopefully you can find some treasures is some of my acquisitions.
