J'étais réceptionniste dans une assez grande entreprise et j'ai à cœur d'aider les autres. Quand des employés se faisaient voler leur déjeuner, ils venaient me le raconter.
Une femme mettait son déjeuner dans un sac en papier brun sur lequel était inscrit son nom. Elle devait préparer de délicieux repas, car elle était régulièrement la cible de vols. Parfois, on ne lui prenait qu'un seul élément, mais la plupart du temps, on lui volait tout. J'avais tellement pitié d'elle.
J'ai cherché sur internet un sac à lunch à fermeture hermétique, mais en 2009, il n'y en avait pas. Je me suis donc adressée au service marketing qui m'a donné un contact pour que je puisse en fabriquer. J'ai offert le premier à une collègue qui perdait constamment son déjeuner. Elle était ravie !
Depuis, on m'a dit qu'on gardait ses médicaments dans son sac. Puis j'ai reçu un courriel d'une mère qui allaitait et qui, n'ayant accès qu'à un réfrigérateur communautaire, s'est procuré un Lunch Locka. Elle était ravie de savoir que ses médicaments étaient en sécurité !
Se faire voler des objets, c'est une chose ; se faire empoisonner, c'en est une autre. La situation est devenue incontrôlable, alors faites tout votre possible pour rester en sécurité !
Je ne fais pas de marketing pour mes sacs et d'autres proposent le même concept. J'ai abandonné mon site web et je vends simplement ce que j'ai en stock. J'ai pris cette décision car il y avait un réel besoin.
Je ne comprends pas comment on peut gagner de l'argent en vendant des articles comme ça. Il faut payer le sac, l'impression du logo dessus, le cadenas, l'impression du logo dessus, les matériaux d'emballage et les frais des plateformes de vente.

I was a receptionist at a fairly large company and it’s in my nature to help others. When employees had their lunch stolen they would come tell me about it.
One woman would put her lunch in a brown paper bag with her name written on it. She must have made some delicious lunches because she was a regular target. Sometimes only 1 item was taken but most of the time they took it all. I felt so sorry for her.
I searched the internet for a locking lunch bag but in 2009 there were none. So I went to our marketing department and they gave me a contact so I could make these bags. I gave my first one to the woman who kept losing her lunch. She was so happy!
Since then people told me that they were keeping their medication in their bag. Then I got the email from a nursing mother and only had a community fridge so she got a Lunch Locka and was so happy knowing it was safe!
It’s one thing to have items taken from you and it’s another that someone might put something in your food. It’s crazy out there so you need to do what you can to Be Safe!!!
I don’t market my bags and there are others who are selling the same idea. I dropped the website and just selling what I have in stock. I just did this because there was a real need.
I don’t know how anyone makes money selling items like this. Pay $$ for bag, $$ printing logo on bag, $$ for lock, $$ printing logo on lock, $ packaging materials, $$ fees from platforms where you sell.
