What kind of fit do your ties have?
A perfect fit for any neck size! We use adjustable sliders that allow for neck/collar sizes 14.5 inches to 18 inches (~37 cm to ~45 cm). Let us know if you would prefer a shorter or longer tie. We will do our best to accommodate you.

What are your choices for fittings?
1. STANDARD ADJUSTABLE SLIDERS: Our standard bow tie is crafted with high-end cast metal & plated fittings with smooth edges (so, your bow tie must be retied each time you wear it) which is the gentleman’s traditional choice.

2. HOOK & EYE: We also provide a separable, yet fully adjustable bow tie crafted with high-end cast metal & plated ‘hook & eye’ fittings. At checkout, please state your request in the field “Note from Buyer”: “HOOK & EYE."

3. FIXED LENGTH: You can order your new bow tie custom fitted to your collar size. At checkout please state your request in the field “Note from Buyer”: “NO HARDWARE” and include your preferred overall length, for example: “34 inches” or "86 cm."

How should I measure for my best fit?
Whilst wearing a collared shirt that fits you comfortably, measure around the actual space where your bow tie will sit around your collar, then add .5" or 1cm to this measurement.

Care instructions
After use, refresh your tie with a gentle pass of a steam iron, preferably with a cloth over the tie itself. A cotton t-shirt is perfect for this. For stained or misshapen ties, a professional dry clean may be necessary.

How are the ties shipped/packaged?
All bow ties are packaged inside a pillow box and wrapped with raw hemp cord. Your package will include an instructional Post Card, and a cotton 'dust bag' to store and protect your new tie.

The ties are shipped inside white bubble envelopes to protect them during shipping. Multiple orders may be combined into a box.

We try to represent the cloth textures and colors as best we can, so please keep in mind that color and resolution settings may vary from monitor to monitor--with some variance. Also, since your bespoke bow tie is cut from a different place on the bolt, it may appear a bit different than in the photos.

All of our bow ties are crafted with natural fabrics including this lightweight 100% springy wool that we use as the lining to complement the weight and drape of the outer fabric without competing with it. This wool interlining is worsted, for the perfect soft hand knot.

All fabrics (including the interlining) are cut precisely on the bias (cross grain) to assure durability & long life. This means that the bow tie lays flat when worn, and stays generally wrinkle-free; and will not lose its shape after extended wear.

We only accept defective items for return or repair. If you receive a defective item, you must notify us within THREE days of receiving the item and provide photos of the defect to be eligible.

Once you reach out, we can decide together which resolution works best.

We will repair, replace, or issue a refund for all *full priced items* ONLY, under the following conditions:

--Item must be received within 30 days of our agreement of resolution.
--Item must be returned to us unworn, unwashed and free of defects caused my buyer or shipment.
--Item will be returned at the buyer’s expense and does not need to be returned in original packaging.
