I have authored five books, including thrillers and poetry. Most if not all of my work has begun on a manual typewriter. Over the past two decades I have purchased typewriters to help with my craft and have seen my collection balloon and and as a result, so many fine machines simply sit on the shelf. I can't use them all. This store is designed to find good homes for these machines -- they will be sold below market value to expedite sales -- all of which will be sold AS IS, but they all work as they should unless otherwise stated (so read my descriptions of individual machines carefully). If you are looking to find a perfect vintage manual typewriter, this is the wrong store. If you want to purchase a vintage typewriter that works, but like anything vintage has its own personality, this is the store for you. The idea is that you should be able to purchase an item, have it delivered to your door in under 10 days -- USA only -- and begin using it the day you unpack it and place it on your desk. Every machine sold has replacement ribbons or cartridges readily available online.
