Olá! Sou Britt, o criador da Selah Script Co. Deixe-me contar um pouco sobre meu negócio e como tudo começou.
Sou quem sou hoje, graças a Deus e à família maravilhosa em que Ele me colocou. Minha tia Christine e minha avó foram criadoras e alimentaram essa centelha criativa em mim desde muito jovem. Minha mãe também incutiu em mim seu incrível senso de negócios, e meu pai me ensinou as habilidades práticas e a mentalidade de resolução de problemas de um carpinteiro. Quando me casei, meu marido apoiou todos os meus desejos criativos e quando minha astuta sogra me presenteou com seu Circuito, recebi as ferramentas de que precisava para iniciar meu negócio. Todas essas influências se uniram para criar a pessoa que sou hoje, proprietária da Selah Script Co.
Eu estava cercado pela natureza deslumbrante do sul da Califórnia, que rapidamente se tornou uma fonte constante de inspiração para mim. O oceano, o deserto e as montanhas eram fontes de uma beleza inspiradora, e eu canalizei isso em meus designs.
Tudo começou com algumas lembranças que fiz para amigos e familiares. Quando entes queridos se casassem, tivessem um filho, saíssem de férias, eu adoraria dar-lhes presentes úteis. A partir daí, meus amigos e familiares começaram a me pedir para fazer presentes especiais para seus entes queridos. Comecei a vender minhas criações e antes que eu percebesse, nasceu a Selah Script Co!
A palavra “Selá” é uma palavra hebraica que significa “pausar” ou “refletir”, e é exatamente isso que quero que meus projetos façam. Crio lembranças personalizadas que trazem lembranças especiais e incentivam as pessoas a fazer uma pausa e refletir sobre o que é mais importante para elas. Cada peça que faço é cuidadosamente elaborada com amor e pensamento, tornando-a verdadeiramente especial e única.
Tem sido uma jornada selvagem e maravilhosa, e estou muito grato por poder fazer o que amo todos os dias. Hi there! I'm Britt, the creator behind Selah Script Co. Let me tell you a bit about my business and how it all started.
I am who I am today all thanks to God, and the wonderful family He put me in. My Aunt Christine and Grandma were both makers, and they nurtured that creative spark in me from a young age. My mom also instilled her amazing business sense in me, and my dad taught me the practical skills and problem-solving mindset of a carpenter. When I got married my husband supported every creative desire of mine and when my crafty mother-in-law gifted me her Circuit, I was given the tools I needed to start my business. All of these influences came together to create the person I am today, the owner of Selah Script Co.
I was surrounded by the breathtaking nature of Southern California, which quickly became a constant source of inspiration for me. The ocean, the desert, and the mountains were all sources of awe-inspiring beauty, and I channeled that into my designs.
It all started with a few keepsakes I made for friends and family. When loved ones got married, had a baby, went on vacation I would love to make them useful gifts. From there, my friends and family started asking me to make their loved ones special gifts. I started selling my creations and before I knew it, Selah Script Co was born!
The word "Selah" is a Hebrew word that means "pause" or "reflect," and that's exactly what I want my designs to do. I create personalized keepsakes that bring back special memories and encourage people to pause and reflect on what's most important to them. Every piece I make is carefully crafted with love and thought, making it truly special and unique.
It's been a wild and wonderful journey, and I'm so grateful to be able to do what I love every day.
