Ciao! Sono Grace, la creatrice di Snug Thread & Custom, dove ogni punto è cucito per avvolgerti nel comfort e nella personalità.
Il mio amore per i tessuti è nato dalla vecchia scatola da cucito di mia nonna. Da bambina, rovistavo tra le sue pile di filati per maglieria e ritagli di cotone, guardandola trasformare semplici stoffe in morbide coperte per le notti invernali e cappelli ricamati per i miei giorni di scuola. Mi ha insegnato una regola d'oro: i capi migliori sono quelli che vestono come una seconda pelle. Ecco da dove nasce "Snug": ogni capo che realizzo è pensato per essere comodo, su misura e tuo.
Quello che era iniziato come un semplice regalo per gli amici (pensate a una coperta ricamata con il testo del primo ballo di una coppia, una maglietta con la stampa del muso di un cane, un cappello con il sentiero preferito di un escursionista) si è presto trasformato in questo negozio. Volevo condividere quella "sensazione di intimità" con tutti, che siate rannicchiati sul divano, sbrigate commissioni o regaliate a qualcuno un pezzo che conserverà per sempre.
Ecco come creo: niente produzione in serie, niente scorciatoie. Ogni ordine inizia con una conversazione. Ti chiedo quali sono i tuoi colori preferiti, il font che ami, persino i piccoli dettagli che rendono la tua idea unica (sì, persino una piccola impronta di zampa sull'angolo di una coperta!). Poi scelgo i tessuti più morbidi e resistenti – cotone traspirante per le magliette, maglia soffice per le coperte, caldi misti lana per i cappelli – e realizzo ogni pezzo nel mio studio luminoso, dove la scatola da cucito della nonna è ancora sul tavolo.

I wanted to share that “snug feeling” with everyone—whether you’re curling up on the couch, running errands, or gifting someone a piece they’ll keep forever.
Here’s how I create: No mass production, no shortcuts. Every order starts with a conversation. I’ll ask about your favorite colors, the font you love, even the tiny details that make your idea unique (yes, even a tiny paw print on the corner of a blanket!). Then I pick the softest, most durable fabrics—breathable cotton for tees, fuzzy knit for blankets, warm wool blends for hats—and craft each piece in my sunlit home studio, where grandma’s sewing box still sits on the table.
