Ho iniziato a insegnare a me stesso come cucire su una macchina da cucire a mano circa undici anni fa. A quel tempo, stavo facendo un sacco di gioielli di canapa e ho pensato che sarebbe stato bello fare una borsa con canapa, manici macramè.
Dopodiché, ho iniziato a creare bambole di tessuto intricate che sono la cosa più carina che tu abbia mai visto!
Avanti veloce fino al 2020 e all'epidemia di COVID-19, ho iniziato a utilizzare il mio personale di tessuto per fare maschere ed è diventato, ad esempio, un secondo lavoro a tempo pieno. Oh, a proposito, il mio primo lavoro a tempo pieno è come mamma, poi come signora delle risorse umane, quindi immagino che il cucito sia il mio terzo lavoro a tempo pieno!
Credo nell'uso dei nostri doni per servire, arricchire o beneficiare la vita degli altri, e sento che fare maschere in questi tempi incerti non solo ha tolto la mia mente dal mondo impazzito, ma ha anche portato un po 'di pace mentale a coloro che le indossano.
Ora, sono giù per il mio amato tessuto firmato, e li sto condividendo con voi.
Spero che siate contenti quanto me di loro. E se non lo sei, farò del mio meglio per correggere la situazione. Si prega di notare, questi sono tessuti in pensione che ho avuto per anni, e quindi, l'offerta è limitata.
I began teaching myself how to sew on a hand-me-down sewing machine about eleven years ago. At the time, I was making a lot of hemp jewelry and thought it would be neat to make a bag with hemp, macrame handles.
After that, I began to make intricate fabric dolls that are about the cutest thing you've ever seen!
Fast forward to 2020 and the COVID-19 outbreak, I began using up my fabric staff to make masks, and it became, like, a second full-time job. Oh, by the way, my first full-time job is as a mom, then an HR lady, so I guess sewing is my third full-time job!
I believe in using our gifts to serve, enrich, or benefit the lives of others, and I feel that making masks in these uncertain times has not only taken my mind off of the world gone wild, but also brought some peace of mind to those who don them.
Now, I am down to my beloved designer fabric, and am sharing them with you.
I hope you are as pleased as I am with them. And if you're not, I will do my best to rectify the situation. Please note, these are retired fabrics that I have had for years, and therefore, the supply is limited.
