GOOD NEWS. I can once again ship my dolls to the USA with Australia Post. New US Tariffs will be incorporated into my Australia Post shipping costs. So I will be able to resume normal business in October. (That is a relief because the 2 dolls I recently shipped to the USA via FEDEX cost me $AUD 1,450 to send). Generations of Love for Vintage Patsy Dolls

In 1974 I received my first Patsy Ann doll in an inheritance from a Great Aunt of my mother's. Great Aunt Grace toured America and Europe as a child prodigy giving concerts all through the 1920s and 30s. Judging by the stickers on her trunk, her Patsy doll toured with her.

Patsy came to me in her original trunk with lots of clothes and original Patsy and Shirley Temple dress patterns. I love to sew and immediately began sewing from these wonderful patterns. Gradually I came to learn what special dolls Patsy and her friends were and the important place they held in the hearts of many American girls. Largely unknown in Australia because of their cost during times of economic depression, I came to see my inherited Patsy as an unexpected treasure.

Over the past 40 years I have collected a large number of Effanbee vintage Patsies in varying sizes and material condition. My passion is to restore them, redress them and send them back into the world to be enjoyed by a new generation of doll enthusiasts to be enjoyed all over again.
