Todos quieren que su hogar sea lo mejor que pueda ser: encarnarlos, inspirarlos y consolarlos. Esta tienda comenzó a partir de mi deseo de crear ese hogar para mí.
Siempre he tenido una afinidad por las antigüedades, la historia, los tesoros que me entregan, casi cualquier cosa que tenga un pasado. Vengo por esto naturalmente. Somos una familia que ha guardado, reterminado y reacondicionado cientos de reliquias familiares: aparadores, gabinetes de porcelana, suites de dormitorio, un órgano, un piano, platos, ropa de cama vintage, toallas de saco de harina, etc. Entonces, incluso con los nuevos artículos en mi tienda, trato de darles una estética que parezca desgastada por el tiempo, muy querida y usada. Gravito hacia colores y acabados rústicos, apagados, suaves y atemporales... así que notarás que muchos de mis artículos están en esta paleta de colores.
Me gustan las líneas y diseños tradicionales; Los monogramas son una de mis cosas favoritas. Monograma todo si pudiera.
Everyone wants their home to be the best it can be -- to embody them, inspire and comfort them. This shoppe began from my desire to create that home for myself.
I have always had an affinity for antiques, history, hand-me-down treasures -- just about anything that has a past. I come by this naturally. We are a family that has saved, refinished, and reconditioned hundreds of family heirlooms -- sideboards, china cabinets, bedroom suites, an organ, a piano, dishes, vintage linens, flour sack towels, etc. So, even with the new items in my shop, I try to give them an aesthetic that appears timeworn, much-loved and used. I gravitate towards colors and finishes that are rustic, muted, soft, and timeless...so you will notice that many of my items are in this color palette.
I like traditional lines and designs; monograms are one of my most favorite things. I'd monogram everything if I could.
