Behind My True Colours
Ik ben niet nieuw in deze omzwervingen. Ik heb True Colors 5 jaar geleden gemaakt, toen ik zwanger was van mijn jongste zoon. In die tijd heb ik als emigrant in Noord-Ierland mijn eerste Etsy-shop opgericht, wat ik als een succes beschouw. Meer dan 1000 verkopen, honderden 5-sterrenrecensies, geweldige ervaring. Toen ik echter terugkeerde naar Portugal, moest ik opnieuw beginnen, een nieuwe winkel opzetten, helemaal opnieuw beginnen. Ik hoop dat je het leuk vindt, blijf en deel mijn liefde voor wat ik doe.

Hello there!
I’m not new to this journey.
I created True Colours Handmade in 2013, when I was pregnant with my youngest son. At the time, I was living in Northern Ireland. With a lot of passion, creativity and a little leap of faith, I opened then my very first Etsy shop.
What had started as a small creative project grew into something I was incredibly proud of. Over the years, I made more than 1,000 sales, received hundreds of 5-star reviews, and, most importantly, had the pleasure of creating pieces for wonderful people all over the world.
Then life brought me back to Portugal. Returning home meant starting again: a new country, a new shop, and a new beginning. My previous Etsy shop and all those years of hard work had to stay behind, and I found myself back at zero.
But one thing has never changed: my love for creating beautiful, handmade things.
I hope you’ll enjoy discovering my shop. Every order, every message and every review means a lot to me.
