Finalmente mi sono permesso di coltivare il mio lato creativo quando ero incinta di mia figlia. Vengo da una piccola comunità rurale e questo è il mio primo figlio ho sentito che avevo bisogno di tutte le cose incredibili del bambino! Solo che non riuscivo a trovare quello che volevo nella mia zona.

Così ho preso un corso di cucito, ho usato l'antica macchina da cucire di mia madre e ho fatto il mio primo set di bavaglini impermeabili. È qui che è iniziato per me. Mi sono innamorato dell'intero processo di creazione! Dalla progettazione del modello, alla scelta dei tessuti, al vedere come ogni taglio di un tessuto ha reso un articolo unico, alle revisioni (e revisioni e revisioni) su una creazione fino a quando non era esattamente quello che volevo.

Ogni articolo che creo lo uso nella mia vita quotidiana come genitore, faccio del mio meglio per creare prodotti essenziali e funzionali. Come nuovi genitori, io e mio marito siamo stati sopraffatti dalla quantità di prodotti per bambini sul mercato che hai finito per non aver bisogno o che non erano davvero funzionali nella realtà di crescere un bambino.

Mi sforzo di creare prodotti con funzione e stile per illuminare la mia giornata come mamma e la mia più grande speranza è che possano fare lo stesso per te.

I finally allowed myself to cultivate my creative side when I was pregnant with my daughter. I am from a small rural community and this being my first child I felt I needed all the amazing baby things! Only I couldn't find what I wanted in my area.

So I took a sewing class, used my moms ancient sewing machine and made my first set of waterproof bibs. This is where it began for me. I fell in love with the entire process of creating! From designing the pattern, to choosing the fabrics, to seeing how each cut of a fabric made a unique item, to the revisions (and revisions, and revisions) on a creation until it was exactly what I wanted.

Each item I create I use in my everyday life as a parent, I do my best to create products that are essential and functional. As new parents, my husband and I were overwhelmed by the amount of baby products on the market that you ended up not needing or truly weren't functional in the realities of raising a child.

I strive to create products with both function and style to brighten my day as a mom and my greatest hope is that they can do the same for you.
