Colbie the Cow crochet kit. NOTE: this is not the finished toy. The pattern is in English only. US crochet terms.

The basic kit includes:

Velvet yarn in brown and white
Cotton yarn - small amounts of black and white
1 pair of 12mm black safety eyes with lashes
Polyester stuffing
1 x Stitch marker
Digital PDF copy of pattern sent via email

Materials needed but not included:

3.5mm crochet hook
Large metal yarn needle
Scissors
Sewing pins

Add a Clover Amour 3.5mm crochet hook as an optional extra. Clover Amour hooks have signature handles made from elastomer rubber, making crocheting comfortable for extended periods of time.

The finished item will sit approximately 17cm tall. Parts are crocheted separately and sewn together, basic sewing skills are required.

Pattern is easy to work and the materials are high quality. The only thing I would say is that I ran slightly short on the white yarn. It was fine because I recently made a blanket that used bernat white velvet so I had extra, but if I hadn’t I would have been significantly more bummed. That being said, LOVE the final product and was very excited to give it to my friend who’s expecting her first baby!

I have not crocheted it yet, so I will hold off of my opinion. But I did receive it.

It arrived really quick and well packed. Good Quilty materials. However wouldn’t recommend as a beginner, velvet yarn is very hard to work with as first time crocheter.
